Chili
Bell peppers and chili peppers both take a long time from sowing to harvest; sowing in January-February is recommended.
Allow 3-4 stems per bell pepper plant to develop and thin out the first fruits. They are heat-loving and require a good supply of water and nutrients. Continuous watering is especially important after fruit set and onwards.
Aphid infestations are common and should be addressed as soon as possible.
