Shade Netting - Seedbed Netting

Seedbed netting is used to protect newly sown crops and young plants during the establishment phase. The netting reduces direct sunlight, wind, and evaporation, contributing to more even emergence and more stable growth.

By creating a more controlled microclimate, the risk of dehydration, crusting, and stress is reduced – especially in dry, warm, or windy conditions.

Covering with seedbed netting/shade netting results in more even germination and emergence, reduced evaporation, and better moisture balance in the seedbed.

Use when sowing vegetables outdoors, especially for sensitive crops and fine-seeded species, when establishing small plants, and during periods of high insolation or drought.
