Flagrant

French delicacy bean. Early variety with light green, kidney-shaped beans and pods that grow to about 12-13 cm long. Tender pods can be eaten; fully ripe ones should be shelled. The beans have a mild, slightly nutty flavour and are suitable for everything from salads to soups and stews.
