Lettuce Geoffrey

Lettuce Geoffrey

Lactuca sativa var. capitata

A butterhead lettuce with a mild taste and soft, crisp-buttery leaves. Fresh light green colour and good post-harvest shelf life.

Geoffrey combines the classic butterhead characteristics with all the qualities of a modern variety, such as the best possible resistance to Bremia and aphids, and resistance to Tipburn.

It has been developed for cultivation in greenhouses, tunnels and other protected environments. A variety that is equally suitable for large-scale cultivation for wholesalers, as it is for sale in your own farm shop or at REKO-ring markets.
