Butternut squash with small, consumer-friendly fruits and exquisite taste. Resistant to powdery mildew, suitable for growing smaller fruits by planting them closer together (0.5-1 m2/plant). Butternut squashes are particularly heat-loving and require optimal conditions to achieve really good harvests. We recommend pre-cultivating and transplanting seedlings rather than direct sowing. But as a food squash, butternut is excellent and popular.
